Maternity photography for me is still a branch of my photography that I am developing. I provide beautiful, artistic, natural maternity photography for clients in Worcester, the Western Cape and surrounds for those who want only the best.  My approach is natural, candid, fun and photo-journalistic. One needs to capture the personality of your maternity subject, to see their soul through your lens.

Photographing pregnant mothers-to-be is one of my many favorite things to do as a photographer. Every pregnancy portrait shows a little miracle, soon to be a part of this world. I love the inherent joy, beauty and significance of maternity photography. There truly is a certain glow that only pregnant women possess — almost like an aura of wisdom and serenity. I especially like to capture the emotion and expressions of expecting mothers and fathers. Even to see the father looking at his wife’s belly with such a feeling of pride, joy and amazement. You can just feel the emotion behind it. Pregnancy is such an intimate and powerful miracle, a new life is being formed; after all we are fearfully and wonderfully made! Being able to be a part of the parents’ joy and eager expectation is something that I love.

Contact me to schedule a photo shoot either at my home studio, or in the comfort of your own home, or a venue of your choice. The best time to capture these moments are from around 33-36 weeks. Should you wish to record a month to month development of your pregnancy, that can also be arranged and made into a final composite.
